April Weekend Dol Drums

It is a Saturday morning in early April. Heavy, wet snow decorates the lawn again...again. Will this winter never end? It was slow to come and slow to leave.

Sunday-I got at least 9 solid hours of sleep but I still feel exhausted and my eye lids are red. Is it because I am having a reaction to the hot tub? Ugh. Or it could be from the AF spirits. I just feel totally off. I have been on this sober curious journey for 30 days with 24 alcohol free days. Shouldn't I feel a little lighter? I know I am not eating as much or at least not consuming as many calories. And why am  I so tired even though I am getting all of this sleep? It doesn't make sense. At least during the day, I have energy.

Today-Breakfast coffee, 2 sausage patties, 2 eggs, 1/2 avocado, 1/2 English muffin with PB and honey.

walked 2.7 miles for workout 1.

Late lunch/dinner steak fajita with avocado, sour cream, and cheese with an AF rum drink.

TTAPP and MFR for workout 2

On my mind, looking at the training of other racers. They attended camps and got more repetition along with skiing in/on varied conditions.

Also on my mind is how we can help Tucker. I think that he needs supplements and a better diet along with meeting with some type of therapist just so he can learn tools to deal with the stress and anxiety of racing.

Anger and anxiety are signs of overstimulation.
