The etymology of learn points to "I Know." What did we learn this year? Did we drink deeply enough to become sobered by the reality that we really know so little? Are we intoxicated by the facts and figures yet lack the big picture? Listening to The Truth About Your Future has me terrified. The consequences of a bionic world sounds intoxicating, but the human side should sober us. What is Man? Where does human nature fit into the robotic world where challenges are erased and replaced by easy living? When we are all super then no one is.
