Theory of revolution:
1. It changes the legal order
Any activity that looks like revolution but that does not change the legal order is not a revolution it is a coup de tat not revolution. Revolutions are not spontaneous. Riots are spontaneous. Riots usually are spontaneous but it doesn't change the legal order or seek to change the legal order. Whenever you see the legal order change you have to ask...small elites organize them initially. Follow the money, follow the confession, follow the media. This will take you to a group who is seeking fundamental change in the legal order. Revolutions can get out of hand.

if you plan  to launch a revolution you had better plan to sustain it with terror

Next term I have to teach a civics course. I believe that I am teaching civics in every subject already. By incorporating the characteristics described in Wooden's pyramid for success I am referncing the attributes of citizens in a free society.
What? A Republic-a free society for free people
How? The Constitution and Bill of Rights and a moral people. During the founding generation it was thought that only a religious people (specifically protestants) could be free people. To be free you must be able to govern yourself. Self control and education are two prongs that will allow freedom to flourish. When
